PUBLIC NOTICE
Public Notice On November 14, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., pursuant to 615 ILCS 90/7.2, the Fox Waterway Agency will conduct a public hearing at its Agency headquarters, 45 S. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake, Illinois 60020. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comments on a proposed ordinance amending Section 4.03 User Permit Sticker Fees of the Agency Code of Ordinances to add a new class of boats, Class M, which includes commercial boats such as tow boats, working boats/barges and tour, party and food boats and excludes fishing guide and rental boats. The permit is not transferable and the proposed annual fee for the Class M boat license is $500, which must be paid in person, at the Fox Waterway Agency headquarters. A copy of the proposed ordinance is on file with the Fox Waterway Agency. Prior to the hearing written comments may be submitted to the Agency and at the hearing the public will be invited to provide comments with regard to the proposed ordinance.
